Chosen the coach, New York City FC thinks about the market
The new New York City FC is being composed. After months of waiting, the name of the team's new coach was announced. Ronny Deila will lead NYCFC next season. The Norwegian coach, before the New York experience, had trained in Norway and Scotland. In Norway he won a league and a national cup as Strømsgodset IF coach. In Scotland, however, he has won two championships with Celtic Glasgow. He is a coach who prefers the game 4-2-3-1, a module that is well suited to the characteristics of the players currently present in New York.
A young coach arrives in New York but he has already gained some experience in two very different championships, but on the same level as the MLS. There is a lot of trust on the part of the club, towards Deila and the work he will do at the helm of New York. Now that the empty box for the coach's name has been filled, New York City FC will begin to move in search of those players that the new coach will ask for on the market. The idea, however, is not to revolutionize the team but to go to perfect the entire squad available.
So we don't have to wait for so many moves, but players will come just to improve the team. The club wants to continue the work started by Vieira and continued by Torrent, with the aim of winning.
