New York City FC, Elizalde is linked to reinforce the defense

According to sources from Italy, New York City FC is thinking of reinforcing the defense with Edgar Elizalde, defender of Pescara, a team that plays in Serie B. The Uruguayan player grew up in the Montevideo Wanderers Fútbol Club. In 2017 it was bought by Pescara and then loaned to Catanzaro in 2019. Last year Elizalde returned to Pescara but is not finding space and for this reason he is about to be sold.

Among the interested teams there is also New York City FC looking for defenders and young people with great potential to be developed. Elizalde also boasts numerous appearances in Uruguay's youth national teams.
