Thomas Henry linked to NYCFC but he will stay in Italy

Thomas Henry's name has often been linked to New York City FC in recent weeks. The Frenchman currently plays for Hellas Verona, bottom of Serie A. The Italian club wants to change a large part of its roster and Henry has been included in the list of possible starters.

However, it seems unlikely that Henry can play in New York. As collected by our editorial staff, Verona is negotiating the sale of Henry to Sampdoria, another Serie A club.
